Can I do my own DNS?

Does it matter what Internet Service Provider I use?
Yes, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) must offer DS3 service in order for you to connect to them.

What hardware do I need to use DS3?
To use DS3 you need at least a router with a built in DS3 link and a NIC (Network Interface Card). Most likely you'll need a CSU/DSU.

What do I do if my DS3 line goes down?
Make sure your ISP is not having any general problems with its DS3 circuits or general connectivity. If that is not the problem, you should call the phone company.
